Refreshing after long plane trip to pick the car up at the airport, in the airport parking lot, without having to talk to anyone or wait in any line or walk or shuttle anywhere. Just entered a code and were on our way. 21st century concept, but with traditional customer service – when we called to find out about extending the rental, they were personable, friendly, efficient. We rented a minivan (Toyota Sienna) it was a little older with some miles and a few scratches, but I felt it was mechanically very well taken care of and safe. This company makes picking up the car so easy, only minutes after landing at the airport in Maui. Walk a few steps and you’re ready to roll. In the past I’ve always had to travel on a shuttle to go to the rental car company and then wait in lines, get a sales pitch on upgrading my rental and wait over an hour until I leave with my car!! Not anymore. This company makes it so easy and fast to get your car. Grab your luggage and walk across the street into the parking lot and there it is!!! Enter the code they email you into the lock box, load up and go. I’ll never use any other car rental company again. Also, no other company beats the price. Just not waiting at a counter was worth going with Go Rent a Car Maui. We got an older car and it worked well and cost us much less than the major rental companies. Great gas mileage too! The car was ready for pickup in the parking lot per instructions. We even had to call them on a Saturday because we locked out by accident and they sent help right away. They drop a car at the airport for you that you just go and get from visitors parking. No trolly no long lines. You get your luggage you walk out and 5 minutes later you’re on your way. The vehicles are not new but I don’t care. They’re well maintained and easy on the pocket book. I want to look like a local instead of a tourist.
